ICC’2017 - The importance of data quality assessment (06.07.2017)

Last Thursday, Ana-Maria Olteanu-Raimond from IGN France represented LandSense at the 28th International Cartographic Conference (ICC'2017) in Washington DC within the session on Open Source Geospatial Technologies/ Volunteered Geographic Information.

Her talk on crowd and community sources data quality assessment provided an overview on the LandSense project as well as the ESPACE collaborative platform developed by IGN France (https://espacecollaboratif.ign.fr). Further, Ana-Maria highlighted some first results of her research and provided an outlook for further research.
