This week, LandSense partner Andreas Matheus from Secure Dimension met with representatives from the Deutsches Forschungsnetz – Authentication and Authorization Infrastructure (DFN-AAI) to explore the potential of the LandSense Engagement Platform. The meeting was hosted at the DFN-AAI office in Berlin, Germany.
The main objective of the meeting was to elaborate on the possibilities to connect the LandSense Engagement Platform to interested organisations from the German Academic Federation. This would enable participating institutions to join LandSense using their own organisational accounts. Besides technical aspects and requirements, legal and organisational conditions for joining the DFN-AAI network were discussed. The successful meeting ended with the conclusion that there are no obstacles for LandSense to join DFN-AAI.
