In Mid-October, Francesca Passeri from the European Crowdfunding Network represented LandSense at the 6th ECN Crowdfunding Convention (CrowdCon) in Vilnius, Lithuania. The convention was an ideal platform to meet EU and national-level policy-makers, as well as professionals and stakeholders from the European crowdfunding industry to promote and raise awareness about the LandSense project and its activities.
The main objectives of CrowdCon were to report on the current trends and future developments of the crowdfunding industry at the EU level, and to facilitate networking and the exchange of best-practices among participants. Furthermore, it provided an occasion to present the opportunities that crowdfunding can provide in a range of different areas.
